Focused to the point with a nice interface to easy control and manage your lights. Provides the basic functions at installation. You can add other functions only if needed. Very very good.

I paid for an app that talks about all this cool stuff in the description and then realized you can only control brightness and temperature. You have to pay to access scenes, and separate charges for other options, like colors. Dumb. The creator also takes all this negativity very personally and will instead argue with you and say you're the dumb one. The smart thing to do would be to take some constructive criticism and fix a clearly disappointing app, and a misleading/poorly written app description. For instance, I'm not about to read a whole dissertation for a simple app summary., so maybe start there? Regardless, don't buy this, or just write a negative review for some laughs.
Literally every feature is an in app purchase. Paid $2.49 for the app to get white dimming functionality only, colour is a $4 up charge! Grouping? $4 up charge. Scenes? $4 up charge. C'mon! This app does nothing, just to get the basic features that are in the free Philips app you need to pay at least $10.50... not worth it.
1st, app is great. Easy to navigate and very impressed. Overall, we'll worth the two bucks. Even the advanced features are priced right.... 2nd, I see slot of people complaining. Find it unfair and unfounded. Those Complain about EULA, have obviously never seen Microsoft Word EULA. This was fair and very standard. Those complain about usage Activity. Yes, they collect device model. Who cares, as long as other info isn't be shared with it that can identify me. If you read in full, you'll find that it's quite fair. Great app...... don't let the downers get to you. Nothing negative here, except those WANTING a negative or reason to complain.
Great Hue app, & I've tried MANY in the last 4 years. I really appreciate the way bulbs, scenes, ect. are laid out in cards. Easy pinpoint controls defined in each card. Many more options & extras. I totally don't understand the low reviews, petty complaints or bitching about the cost. Do any of you work for free? Great work!
